
Air Fryer Egg Rolls
Een Chinees side gemaakt met ground varkensvlees, gember en wortels.

Alternative Pan bak Method: If you don’t have access to an air fryer, you can maak these ei rolls using a traditional pan bak method. voeg toe enough olie to een middelgrote skillet with high walls so the olie is ongeveer 1/2 inch up the side of the skillet. verhit olie on medium hoog vuur tot it reaches 350°F. voeg toe ei rolls and bak for 3 to 4 minuten, flip, and bak for another 3 to 4 minuten tot goudbruin. verwijder and laat them giet af and cool on a few paper towels.

kook the filling: in een grote skillet op middelhoog vuur, voeg toe the olijfolie 1 eetlepel olive oil along with 454 g ground varkensvlees or kip. Break apart the meat with a spatula or wooden spoon as it cooks. kook tot the meat is gegaard through, 6 to 8 minuten.

voeg toe 1 knoflook, 1 eetlepel gember, wortel, 3 chopped scallions, and 450 g kool. ga door to kook tot kool wilts down and is zacht, another 3 to 4 minuten, stirring regularly. breng op smaak the filling with 1 eetlepel sojasaus and rijstazijn, and take off the verhit to cool. (This filling can be made in advance.)

Assemble the ei rolls: leg a single ei roll wrapper on a dry surface with one point of the square facing you (like a diamond). leg ongeveer 1/4 cup of the ei roll filling mixture in the middle of the wrapper.

Dip your fingers in water and run around the edges of the wrapper. Then schep erdoor the edges of the wrapper over the center and start rolling the ei roll away from you to form a tight cylinder. leg on a plate and herhaal tot you are out of filling. You should get at least a dozen ei rolls.

Air bak the ei rolls: leg the ei rolls in the basket of your air fryer. Spray or brush them lightly with olie. voeg toe as many as you can without stacking the ei rolls, making sure they don’t touch. Air needs to circulate around them. Brush the ei rolls lightly with olie.

leg the basket in the air fryer and turn the air fryer to 350°F. kook for 6 to 7 minuten, then flip the ei rolls, spray or brush with olie a second time on the bottom side, and kook for another 4 to 5 minuten.

Finished ei rolls should be goudbruin bak bruin and krokant! serveer direct.
