
Apple & Blackberry Crumble
Een classic crumble of appel en blackberry with a buttery oat topping.
Ingrediënten

- 2fijne basterdsuiker60 g
- 3Boter60 g
- 4braeburn appels300 g
- 5Boter30 g
- 6demerara suiker30 g
- 7Blackberries120 g
- 8Kaneel¼ teaspoon
- 9ice roomto serve

verwarm de oven voor op 190C/170C fan/gas 5. Tip the bloem and suiker into a large bowl. voeg toe the boter, then rub into the bloem using your fingertips to maak a light breadcrumb texture. Do not overwork it or the crumble will become heavy. bestrooi the mixture evenly over a baking sheet and bak for 15 mins or tot lightly coloured.

ondertussen, for the compote, schil, core and cut the appels into 2cm dice. doe the boter and suiker in a medium saucepan and melt together over a middelhoog vuur. kook for 3 mins tot the mixture turns to a light caramel. roer erdoor the appels and kook for 3 mins. voeg toe the blackberries and kaneel, and kook for 3 mins more. dek af, haal van het vuur, then laat for 2-3 mins to continue cooking in the warmth of the pan.

To serveer, spoon the warm fruit into an ovenproof gratin dish, top with the crumble meng, then reheat in the oven for 5-10 mins. serveer with vanille ice room.
