
Lamsvlees en Lemon Souvlaki
Een Grieks lamsvlees gerecht gemaakt met sea zout, citroen, dille en lamsvlees leg.

Pound 2 knoflooken with 2 theelepels sea zout in a pestle and mortar (or use a small food processor), tot the knoflook forms a paste. klop together the olie, citroen Zest and juice of 1 lemon juice, zest, 1 eetlepel dille and knoflook. meng in the lamsvlees and meng goed. dek af and marineer for at least 2 hrs or overnight in the fridge. If you’re going to use bamboo skewers, soak them in cold water.

If you’ve prepared the lamsvlees the previous day, take it out of the fridge 30 mins before cooking. Thread the meat onto the soaked or metal skewers. verhit the grill to high or have a hot griddle pan or barbecue ready. kook the skewers for 2-3 mins on each side, basting with the remaining marinade. verhit the pitta or flatbreads briefly, then stuff with the souvlaki. voeg toe Greek salad (see 'Goes goed with', right) and Tzatziki (below), if you like.
