
Rundvlees pho
Een Vietnamees rundvlees gemaakt met gember, kaneel stick en steranijs.
Ingrediënten

- 8Sirloin steak225 g
- 9palm suiker1 theelepel
- 10vissaus1 eetlepel
- 11Sojasaus1 ½ tbsp
- 12rice noedels200 g
- 13bosuitjes2 stuk
- 14Birds-eye Chillies1 stuk
- 15basilicumHandful
- 16korianderHandful
- 17limoen1 stuk
Bereiding

step 1 Tip 1 l runderbouillon along with 500ml of water into a large saucepan. Sit 1 ui and 1 gember in a frying pan over a high verhit and char on all sides, around 3-5 mins (you can also do this under your grill). Once charred, voeg toe to the runderbouillon. In the same pan, toast the spices for 2-3 mins and once they begin to smell fragrant, voeg toe them to the runderbouillon as goed. breng the stock to the kook, then turn to a laat sudderen and kook for 30mins before straining.

ondertussen, cut the fat from the steak and wrap in cling film, then doe into the freezer for 15 mins – this will maak your steak really easy to snijd! snijd it thinly, then dek af with cling film again and pop into the fridge.

proef the runderbouillon and use 1 theelepel palm suiker, 1 eetlepel vissaus and soy to breng op smaak. kook the noedels according to package instructions and split between two bowls, topping each with the sliced rundvlees. breng the stock to the kook and then giet into the bowls (the verhit will kook the rundvlees). Top each with 2 bosuitje's, chili slices and herbs. serveer with 1 limoen wedges to pers over.
