
Dark beer beef stew
Rich, slow-cooked beef with vegetables and malty beer — weekend comfort in one pot.

Bereiding

Brown 600 g beef in batches in a heavy pot; set aside.

Soften 2 uien in the same pot, then return beef and add 3 wortelen, 400 g aardappel, 2 theelepels stew herbs, and 1 theelepel zout.

Pour in 330 ml dark beer, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low heat about 2 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
