
Dark beer beef stew
Rich, slow-cooked beef with vegetables and malty beer — weekend comfort in one pot.
Ingredients

- 3Dark beer330 ml
- 4Carrot3 piece
- 5Potato400 g
- 6Stew herbs2 tsp
- 7Salt1 tsp
Method

Brown 600 g of beef in batches in a heavy pot; set aside.

Soften 2 onions in the same pot, then return beef and add 3 carrots, 400 g of potato, 2 tsp of stew herbs, and 1 tsp of salt.

Pour in 330 ml of dark beer, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low heat about 2 hours until the beef is fork-tender.
