
Syrian Rice with Meat
A Syrian miscellaneous dish made with ground beef, allspice, cinnamon and chicken stock.
Ingredients

- 8Rice370 g
- 9Butter2 tbsp
- 10Pine nuts60 g
Method

Heat 1/4 cup 57 g of butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add 907 g of ground beef and season with 2 tsp of salt, 0.5 tsp of allspice, 0.5 tsp of cinnamon, and 0.5 tsp of black pepper. Cook and stir until beef is browned and crumbly, 7 to 10 minutes.

Stir chicken broth and 370 g of rice into beef in the saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons 2 tbsp of butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir 60 g of pine nuts in hot butter until lightly browned, 3 to 5 minutes.

Mix pine nuts into beef-rice mixture before serving.
